Position Title:Senior Data Platform Engineer

Job Description:
Our usual working hours are Monday- Friday, however due to the nature of our service we may require you to be flexible. Working is currently home based due to the pandemic.
Responsibilities:
- You know what you’re talking about when it comes to data analysis and troubleshooting
- You have excellent business-facing skills, with experience in requirements-gathering and translating business requirements into technical solutions
- You have a strong understanding of BI concepts and tools
- You’re experienced working with Azure Data components, such as Databricks, Data Factory, Data
- Lake, Event Hub, SQL and Analysis Services
- You’re able to work closely with stakeholders and other teams around the business
- You’re experienced in understanding and the use of source control and release management technologies such as Azure DevOps
- You have excellent SQL knowledge
- You have experience in data conversions and master data management experience defining, testing and troubleshooting
- You have experience in Data Warehousing solutions and Data Modelling methodologies (e.g. Kimball)
