Position Title: Analyst Programmer

Job Description
We are now recruiting for an experienced, hands-on Analyst Programmer to join our IT Team at our Head Office and Distribution Centre in Warrington.
Responsibilities:
- SQL and DB2/400 data manipulation techniques
- Interfacing to existing processes
- Creation of software specification
- Data, program and process testing
- ERP development and integration
- RPG from system 36 to LE
- CL scripting, screen design and reports
- IP, sockets and other communication protocols
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal systems and practices
Requirements:
- Knowledge of warehouse/DC software
- Full development lifecycle expertise
- ERP development and software integration experience
- Ability to adapt and use new technologies
- Ability to work independently
- A ‘can do’ attitude with a determination to see the job through to resolution
- Software troubleshooting experience
- A customer focused and approachable attitude
- Ability to prioritise work based on business impact
- Retail/Epos experience is desirable but not essential
- Excellent communication skills
