Job Description

We have an interesting opportunity for a Planner – Aftermarket Vendor Management to join our Aftermarket Vendor Management Team. The team is accountable for the performance of all the Civil Large Line Replaceable Unit vendors in the aftermarket supporting both Customers with on-wing removal repair and our MRO (maintenance, repair and overhaul) network for LRU (line replaceable unit) repair. And this role is pivotal to ensure that our LRU vendors get a clear visibility of the whole aftermarket forecasted demand to ensure sufficient capacity/capability/parts has been organised by the Vendors.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate aftermarket SORB (Sales and Operating Review Board) demand/supply plans to identify supply risk and manage resolution
• Main interface with LRU (Line Replaceable Unit) vendors for forecasting information
• Work with the wider Installation, Nacelles and Controls organisation to help resolve supply issue across New Production and aftermarket when required
• Support key processes in Campaign/Planning & Control functional reviews

Requirements:

• Demand management and forecasting, as well as drive for results
• Data analysis, decision-making skills and problem solving
• Good IT skills are essential – Predominately Excel
• Confident when representing Rolls-Royce with external customers
• Good similar technical product knowledge and Services awareness desirable
