Job Description
Jet2.com and Jet2Holidays are looking for a Financial Accounts Assistant to Take Responsibility for monitoring adherence to revenue and cash controls at our UK and Overseas Bases.
Reporting to the Finance Team Leader, your key responsibility will be to ensure that through receipt validation and reconciliations all revenues and petty cash returns are correctly reported, invoiced, and posted to financial ledgers. Making sure financial controls are adhered to and any scope for potential fraud or loss of revenue is reported is vital to the success of this role.
Responsibilities:
- Reconciling Airport revenue to cash receipts
- Calculating 3rd party commission
- Daily bank reconciliations
- Posting petty cash returns
- Cashbook management
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Reconciling customer credit card payments & identifying any discrepancies
- Month-end tasks
- Ad-hoc assistance where required
