Job Description:

We’re looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to join our growing Marketing team here at Matalan Head Office. You will be responsible for the formation of the paid digital marketing strategy for Matalan, delivering against omni-channel KPIs. You will be accountable the optimisation of our paid digital marketing investment across channels to deliver customer acquisition & the most cost efficient media plan possible.

Responsibilities:

• Autonomy for the formation of the paid search strategy & execution of the media.
• Keep up to date with new innovations & changes in the market to help identify opportunities.
• Responsible for utilising new technologies to optimise performance to include online & offline impacts .
• Accountable for building strong working relationships across the marketing & trading teams.
• Forecasting performance & proactively developing business cases for paid search initiatives.
• Utilising econometrics & attribution models to influence decisions, optimise campaigns & plan for future campaigns across marketing.
• Responsible for ensuring that digital KPI’s are understood by business stakeholders and used appropriately.
• Ensuring all paid search uses target audiences & has clear objectives.
• Responsible for setting the direction & leading the Paid Media Assistant.
• Accountable for the management & movement of paid digital investment to deliver the most efficient media plan.
• Working with channel partners & suppliers to look for new beta opportunities.
• You’ll be able to develop and execute the paid search road map, including new initiatives, testing & optimisation reviews.

Requirements:

• Should be a subject matter expert with a passion for digital media & eCommerce.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence key business stakeholders.
• Able to use analytics packages i.e GA 360.
• ​​+3 years in Paid Media role; specifically Paid Search.
• Able to work as part of a large commercial team.
• Able to apply strategic & commercial thinking to campaigns, both on & offline.
• Able to develop self – taking a proactive approach to learning & others around them.
• IT literate with knowledge and experience of all Microsoft Office especially Excel.
• Excellent planning and organisation skills.
• Highly driven and determined with a proactive approach.
• Should have experience of the omni channel retail environment.
